The Time Someone Tried to Be Us (And Failed)

Let’s talk about it.

Earlier this month, it came to our attention that a fraudulent TikTok Shop had been operating under our name — Prevail Boutique, LLC — complete with our home address and personal contact information listed publicly on their page. They were selling Chris Brown and Usher concert jerseys. Not jewelry. Not anything remotely connected to what we do here.

Someone built a fake storefront using our entire business identity and pointed it at unsuspecting customers who thought they were buying from us.

How We Found Out

A customer reached out to our actual business line after being misled by the fraudulent listing. That’s how it starts — one confused customer, one phone call, and suddenly you’re staring at a page that has your LLC name, your home address, and your contact information attached to products you’ve never sold and never would.

It’s a violation. Full stop.

The Fight to Get It Down

What followed was not a quick fix. We reported through every available TikTok channel — standard reporting, business impersonation forms, escalation requests, formal notices with legal language. We went in circles. We were persistent anyway.

After significant effort and escalation, TikTok shut the shop down.

We won. Eventually.

The Plot Twist Nobody Asked For

Their returned merchandise is now arriving at our address. Concert jerseys. Showing up at our door. For a business we had nothing to do with. 🙄

We wish we were making this up.
